How to order

Japan Design Store offers “Japanese masterpiece” such as Japanese traditional crafts. Please read the introduction of the products, and make order as following procedure.
* Japan Design Store receives the order through our web page only. We are sorry but we cannot accept the orders by telephone or FAX.

  1. STEP1.Add the products into cart

    Open each product page, and select the number of quantity you want. Then press “Add to cart.”

  2. STEP2.Check the products in your cart

    Check the contents and quantity of your products in your “Cart.” You can see your cart on the top right of our website.
    If all is right, press “Proceed to Checkout.”

  3. STEP3.Log in / Register as new member

    When you press “Proceed to Checkout,” you can move to checkout page automatically. If you are our members, please log in. If you are not our members, you can register our membership from here. Or you can proceed to check out without registering by select “Checkout as Guest.”
    (If you are our members and you are already logged in, this page is excluded.)

  4. STEP4.Choose billing address

    Select or fill out your address. If you want to ship the products to the same address, please select “Ship to this address.”

  5. STEP5.Choose shipping address

    If you want to ship the products to different address, please select “Ship to different address” and press “Continue.” Then, select or fill out the shipping address.

  6. STEP6.Choose gift wrapping service

    You can choose gift wrapping here. If you use gift wrapping service, please choose “Use.” Then, you can see details of gift wrapping. Select your favorite gift wrapping according to the instructions.

  7. STEP7.Choose delivery method

    Now, we ship your parcel by EMS. Please see more details of EMS from “Japan Post Express Mail Service.”


  8. STEP8.Choose payment method

    You can pay by Credit card or through PayPal.
    * If you would like to pay with debit cards or any other cards than VISA / Master cards, please use PayPal payment.
    Choose your payment method and fill out necessary information.
    When you choose PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal website by clicking “Continue.”

  9. STEP9.Order review

    If you have any other comment, please write it in “Other Inquiry.”
    Please check your order carefully. If everything is right, press “Place Order.”
    Then, your order is complete.

    We will send a mail automatically as a confirmation of your order. By any chance you cannot get a mail, please recheck your entered address is right. Or our mail may be sorted into SPAM mail folder.

    We will prepare for shipping after we confirm your order. Please wait a short while before the arrival of your products.

Send gifts in joint names

If you would like to send gifts in joint names or to joint names (ex. Married couple), you can write the names in billing or shipping address forms.
If you are our members, you can write new address and joint names by choosing “New Address.”
Please note that the name in the mail we send our members are the registered name.

For same family name (ex. family)
For the gifts in joint names, please fill out names in the “First Name” blank in “STEP.1 Billing Address.” The example is being showed below.
For the gifts to joint names, please fill out names in the “First Name” blank on “STEP.2 Shipping Address.”

For different family name (ex. friends)
For the gifts in joint names, please fill out full name of one person in the “First Name,” and the other names of rest of the people in the “Last Name” blank in “STEP.1 Billing Address.”
* Please separate the names by a space.
For the gifts to joint names, please fill out full name of one person in the “First Name,” and the other names of rest of people in the “Last Name” blank in “STEP.2 Shipping Address.”

Orders for multiple delivery addresses

If you want to ship multiple delivery addresses, we are sorry but please make orders separately. One order goes to one address. We appreciate your understanding.

Coupon use

Japan Design Store issues seasonal coupon. If you fill out coupon code, you can get discount.

How to use coupon

  1. STEP1.Add the products into cart

    Open each product page, and select the number of quantity you want. Then press “Add to cart.”

  2. STEP2.Enter coupon code and press “Apply Coupon”

    When you see your “Shopping Cart,” you can see “Discount codes.” Please fill out the designated coupon code and press “Apply Coupon” button.

  3. STEP3.Proceed to checkout

    You can see the discount amount in Grand total below the coupon code entering place. Please check the amount is applied the coupon, and proceed to checkout.

* The upper limit of amount or object products differs from each campaign. Please read the notes before you use coupon.
* Membership registration is required to use coupon. If you are our members, please log in before you use coupon. If you are not our member, please register our membership.
* The coupon discount is applied only once per person. When you make multiple orders, the coupon will be applied to one order only. We appreciate your understanding.

Re-order

Our members can re-order the same order you made before. If you want to make re-order, please log in your ”My Page” and see your “Recent Orders.” You can check the details of your latest order from “View Order.” Please review the contents of the order. If everything is OK, press “Reorder in this content.”
