Shipping cost

The shipping cost in our store includes these three cost; ① Shipping fee, ② Premium for insurance, ③ Handling cost (preparing customs declaration and packing cost).
The following costs are NOT included in the shipping cost. Therefore, the recipients of the parcel have the responsibility to pay them. We kindly ask your understanding.
・Import duty, tax on value added, consumption tax, import tariff, or any other tax
・Charges for custody in the recipient’s country
・Cost for redelivery
・Tax at time of receipt from bonded area
・Or any other costs needed in recipients’ countries

① Shipping fee
Japan domestic
Free shipping to all around Japan.
Overseas
The shipping cost depends on the weight or material of your parcel. Also, the cost depends on the countries or regions.
The shipping cost covers the area as mentioned below.

* Basically, the parcel will be delivered to the address of recipients.
However, in some countries, recipients need to pick up from the post office or bonded warehouse. Or, recipients need to ask for the customs after the parcel arrives at customs. Also, the tracking system indicate “Returned because addressee absent” or “Delivered to addressee" when the parcel arrived at customs or post offices in recipients’ countries. (ex. Shipped to Germany, etc.)

② Premium for insurance
Your parcels are insured for loss and damage compensation.

③ Handling cost (preparing customs declaration and packing cost)
We prepare INVOICE or customs declaration for exporting items. The cost includes the handling fee to make these statement and packing.

How to check the shipping cost

You can check the cost before the purchase will complete.
When you add the products to the cart, please press "proceed to checkout".
Please proceed your purchase to "Shipping Method".
Shipping Method shows the shipping method and cost.

Delivery

The order will be shipped within a week from our shop. We do not ship on weekends and holidays.
Out of stock item will be ordered from ateliers.
Usually, backordered items will arrive within a week after the order. However, it may take more than 7 days depending on products.
In that case, we will send you a “Delivery Date Confirmation mail.”
You need to pay the total amount at the time of your order. However, cancellation is possible if the order does not meet your desired delivery date.
If you cancel after you make order, please reply with "cancel the order" to the “Delivery Date Confirmation mail.”

Delivery Time

We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. EMS delivery usually takes 2-7 days. You can check the estimated delivery days at the "EMS Delivery Days Page".

About EMS

We use Express Mail Service (EMS) of the Japan Post Service.(「Japan Post Service.」)
EMS is an international mail service that delivers to more than 120 countries and regions in the world.
EMS has both insurance and tracking systems.
You can track your parcels on the EMS website using the shipping tracking number.

Stock status/ Shipping date

Stock status and shipping date

You can see the "①Stock status" and "②Shipping date" on the page of each item. Please check them before you purchase.

①Stock status

Rich We have stock in rich.
Number (ex. 3) The number means the stocks we have in our store now. If you order more than the number, the order will be back ordered.
Out of stock The products are out of stock now. The order will be back ordered. If it takes more than 2 weeks, we will let you know.

②Shipping date

We will ship your order within a week. we will ship your ordered products within a week (except for weekends and holidays.)
Planned to dispatch on 〇/〇~△/△. If you order the products on the day, we are planning to dispatch the products between 〇/〇~△/△. The date may change depends on the amount of orders or circumstances of the atelier.

We state the shipping date on the mail as a confirmation of your order. When we ship your parcel, we will send “Shipped your parcel” mail.

Please note that planning date (○/○ ~ △/△) is just a plan. When we can get items earlier than we expected, we will ship your parcel as soon as possible even if it is much earlier than the planning date. If you do not want to ship your order earlier than the planning date, please let us know.

Also, we will tell you the shipping date in following situation; it takes more than two weeks before dispatch, the products are back order by concentrated orders or circumstances of atelier.
If the shipping date does not meet your desired date, you can cancel or change your order. Please let us know if you want.

* We update the stock status and shipping date regularly. However, the information may be not the latest one due to the timing. Therefore, your ordered products may become back order after you ordered. Or it may take some time before dispatch. We appreciate your understanding.

The record of EMS label is as follows. The name of sender is stated at “FROM” blank. The address of sender is not stated.
* Please note that the price must be stated on the label. The price is needed for custom and insurance.

Receipt of the parcel

Basically, the parcel will be delivered to the address of recipients.
However, in some countries, recipients need to pick up from the post office or bonded warehouse. Or, recipients need to ask for the customs after the parcel arrives at customs.
Also, the tracking system indicate “Returned because addressee absent” or“Delivered to addressee" when the parcel arrived at customs or post offices in recipients’ countries. (ex. Shipped to Germany, etc.) The customs or post offices may not inform you of the arrival. Therefore, please be sure to check the status of your parcel by EMS tracking system by yourselves.

About damage compensation

We are packing so that the product will not break, but please contact us if the item was damaged.
The shipping cost includes the premium of insurance for your parcel. To apply the insurance, we need your “damage report.”

You can make and submit the damage report at your local post office with following three items.
1.The number of EMS
2.Damaged item
3.The box we sent
Also, please tell us the receipt number of your damage report by picture from "Contact Us".

Special circumstances of each country

Some of our items are prohibited to export from Japan.
The restrictions vary by countries. Therefore, we do not check or inform you whether the ordered items are prohibited or not. Please note that customers are responsible for confirming that the items can be imported.
We do not take any responsibility by any chance your ordered items are prohibited at customs of destination due to the restriction rule.

Shipment to Canada
In Canada, the customs inspections are being reinforced to prevent terrorism. Accompanying the reinforcement, the mail shipment to Canada tends to be delayed.

Shipment of EMS or international parcel to Italy
In Italy, the customs inspections are being reinforced. Accompanying the reinforcement, the shipment tends to be delayed.
Also, the customs impose import duty, tax on value added or any other tax to the recipients. The recipients have the responsibilities to pay all the tax imposed in recipients’ countries. We appreciate your cooperation.

Shipment of EMS to France

For the EMS parcel to France, if the recipients’ address need “Door code,” (the codes to unlock door automatically) the “Door code” must be stated on the label.
If the “Door code” is not mentioned and the delivery staff cannot contact with the recipients, the delivery staff cannot post absence notice letter into the post. Then, the parcel will be retained at local post office or returned to Japan. The parcels for provincial cities may be delivered without door code. However, for the cities like Paris, the door code and the phone number of the recipients are necessary.

If the recipients are absent when the delivery staff visit, absence notice letter will be posted. Please follow the instruction of redelivery or picking up on the letter. The retention period is 14 days at the post office. If the period is expired, the parcel will be returned to Japan.
Also, please note that the tracking system of EMS indicates“Delivered to addressee" during the retention at the post office.

Shipment of EMS to Germany
In Germany, the customs inspections are being reinforced. For the imported products from outside EU, the customs impose import duty, tax on value added or any other tax to the recipients. The recipients have the responsibilities to pay all the tax imposed in recipients’ countries. We appreciate your cooperation.
The tracking system of EMS may indicate as “Returned because addressee absent" or“Delivered to addressee" when the products are in the Bonded warehouse in recipients’ country. Or, if you check the tracking system of DHL, the record may indicate the name of the custom’s staff. Please pick up the products from the customs by the recipients.

Shipment of EMS to the United Kingdom
In England, when the recipients cannot receive the parcel because of the absence, the parcel will be retained in local post office. However, absence notice letter may be not posted. Also, the tracking system indicate as “Received by the addressee" or "Delivered to the Recipient Address." Therefore, after you received “Shipped your parcel” mail, please check the status of your parcel by EMS tracking system.

Shipment to Spain
Please note that the parcel to Spain over €22, (about USD $22 in the rate of €1 = USD $1) it may take more than 2 weeks to customs clearance. The recipients need to prepare some documents and pay customs duty.

Redelivery rule

In some countries (France and UK, etc.), the nearest post office will keep your parcel while designated days. If the designated days will expire, the parcel will return to our store. So, please check your tracking information if you cannot receive your parcel within a week after you got “shipped your parcel” mail.

If you want to re-deliver your parcel, another shipping cost will be needed.
We will send re-deliver cost invoice to you.
If you want to cancel your order after we receive returned parcel, we will return 90 % of product price. 10% of the product price will be charged as the settlement fee of PayPal.
* Please note that we CANNOT refund the shipping cost and gift wrapping fee. We appreciate your kind understanding.

Sharing of responsibility on delivery

We take the responsibility for the delivery of overseas parcel from the departure of our store to the point when the parcel is on board ship or air plane.

Customs rules

Some countries impose tariff, import duties, other taxes, or customs cost, etc. on customers or gift recipients.
Please note that the recipients of the goods are responsible for the payment of all tariffs, duties or local taxes.
Also, we have no responsibilities for the delays due to the customs inspection.
