Red and black lacquered chopsticks have beautiful shine of lacquer and gold Makie. Craftsmen paint patterns with lacquer and cover the paint with gold powder before the urushi become dry. Red chopsticks are 21.5cm long and black chopsticks are 22.5cm long. Chopstick rest set Sho-Chiku-Bai is a set of 3 cast iron chopstick rests from Chushin Kobo.
